ROAD TO LIGHTHOUSE HOMESTEAD DAMAGED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Access to Baring Head lighthouse and Mr. Eric Riddiford’s station has been cut off by numerous slips on the road leading there and the route will not be open for two or three days. The slipping of the hillside behind Mr. Riddiford’s homestead at Orongorongo severely damaged the building. Communication is cut off and details are meagre.
