BRITAIN AND SWEDEN
RETAINING TRADE PLANS IN WAR TIME AGREEMENT REACHED (Eire. Tel. Copyright—'United Press Assn.) (British Oflici.il Wireless.) Reed. 1.30 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 27. A war trade agreement has been signed between the United Kingdom and Sweden. The object of the agreement is to adapt die existing Anglo-Swedish trade arrangements to wartime conditions with a view to maintaining the trade between the two countries, as far as such conditions permit, at the normal level. To assist in the smooth operations of the arrangements contemplated, a joint standing commission is to be set up and is' to meet periodically.
