The track was fast. Results: Summer Hurdles, of £l5O, 1J miles. -1-2 Ballad, 10.1 (Shand) 1, 3-4 Travenna, 12.5 (Ridgway), 2; 6-5 Last Link, 10.4 (Hamill) 3. All started. Six lengths; two lengths. Time, 2.45. Maiden Handicap, of £120; 6 fur-longs.—2-2 King’s Chorus, 8.5 (W. Ellis), 1; 5-7 Airline, 8.7 (Humphries), 2; 9-10 The Raker, 8.5 (Stokes). 3. Scratched: Slamannan, Cherokee. Half a length; two lengths. Time, 1.17 1-5.
