STAND UNTIL VICTORY CANADIANS WELCOMED (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2.30 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 22. The Minister for Co-ordination of Defence, Lord Chatfield, has sent a message to the Canadian High Commissioner, Mr. Macnaughton, on behalf of the Army Council, expressing his pride and pleasure in welcoming the Canadian active service force on their arrival from Canada. The message says: “Your coming is living proof of our just cause, bringing British men together from all lands of the earth, and we shall stand together until victory is won.”
