100 PEOPLE INJURED BERLIN TRAIN CRASH EXPRESSES COLLIDE HITLER ALARMED (Elm’. Tul. Copyright—Unit-nil Press Assn.) (Reed. Dec. 23, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON. Dec. A ‘Berlin message states that 70 people were killed in a train crash at Genthin, near Berlin, at 1 a.m. to-day, when the Berlin-Neunkirchcn express crashed at full speed into the BerJinCologne express, which was standing at the station. Both trains were packed with passengers.

Besides the 70 people killed, 100 were injured.

This is the worst of eight train crashes in Germany since October, in which 183 people have been killed and 257 injured.

Herr Hitler, alarmed at the number of smashes, has ordered a new crashproof railway coach for his personal use. and which has been rigorously tested by Storm Troopers sitting in it while a goods train was hurled into it at 50 miles an hour. The conch was derailed, but the occupants were allegedly only shaken.
