Dangers of Leaflet Raids

A humorous story of the war is related by Dr. D. H. Robertson, Wanganui, who is in London, in a letter to the secretary of the Wanganui Rotary Club. One of the Royal Air Force pilots engaged in dropping leaflets over Germany arrived back at his base too soon. His explanation was that in his excitement lie had dumped the whole cargo of leaflets over in one lot. “Good heavens, man, you might 'have killed somebody!” declared the commanding officer.
