SHARING PAY COSTS
SHIP SURVIVORS OWNERS AND STATE (Reed. Dec. 23, 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 22. The Government has accepted an offer from shipowners to share in equal proportions the cost of the wages of all survivors of officers and men of ships torpedoed or mined, etc, for a period of a month, or until they reach Britain, whichever is the greater.
