Opening in the Sheffield Shield cricket match against New South Wales, Victoria made 380 runs (Tamblyn scored 58, Johnson 41, and Hussett 33. O’Reilly took tour wickets for 75 runs and Pepper three tor 91. Playing at Adelaide against Queensland, South Australia scored 553 runs tor tour wickets in the first innings. Bradman made 138, Ridings 121, Waite 58 not out and Badcoek 172 not out.
