BUS CONSUMPTION
PLEA FOR REDUCTION (Tmt Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Mr. C. L. Bishop., secretary of the New Zealand Motor Omnibus Association, has been supplied with confidential information in regard to petrol supplies and is convinced that proprietors would appreciate the seriousness of the position and make every endeavour to reduce consumption. A joint statement of a similar nature was made by Mr. J. H. Kirkwood, president of the Carriers’. Federation, and Mr. J. D. Cullen, president of the Road Transport Alliance.
