FRENCH AMBULANCES
SOCIETY WOMEN OWN CARS PROVIDED (Reed. Dec. 22, 3 p.m.) PARIS, Dec. 21. Two ambulances driven and manned by society women volunteers have left for Finland. The women belong to the motor section of the French Red Cross. They provide their own cars and expenses. They -undergo the most severe en- ■ durance tests before enrolment. • A section already serving on the West Front bought 12 and have ordered 30 ambulances.
