THE MAGINOT LINE NEW POSITIONS BUILT SURVEY BY PREMIER (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.} (Reed. Dec. 23. 12.40 p.m.) PARIS, Dec. 22. The Premier of France, M. Daladier, speaking in the Chamber of Deputies, said that the Maginot Line extended to the northern Jura frontiers. The whole of the French Army was pouring concrete and creating second and third positions. The Chamber passed credits for the first quarter of 1940, M. Daladier pointing out that priority was being given to aviation and the manufacture of anti-tank weapons which had revealed their power. He said that the new and more modern planes leaving the factories would be most redoubtable weapons.
