BOMBING RAIDS
HOSPITAL DISTRICT DAMAGE IN HELSINKI ' PEOPLE TAKE SHELTER CASUALTIES IN TURKO \r S (Reed. Pee. 22, 11.50 a.m.) -- HELSINKI, Dec. 21. Sixteen Russian planes dropped between 25 and 30 bombs in the Helsinki hospital district. At present it is believed the casualties are small, because warnings enabled the people to reach shelter. Several buildings, including children’s and‘blind institutions, were badly damaged. The Russians also carried out an air raid on Turko. Many casualties are feared.
