Jean Borotra and Jacques Brugnon, tl\c. tennis aces, are captains in the Artillery; George CarpentiOr, the boxer, is a sergeant in the Air Force; and Jules Ladoumegue, the runner, an infantry sergeant. Most of the French racing cyclists are Already at the front.
