The Committee reserves the right to alter or add to the programme, to vary the order of events or to postpone the meeting or substitute trophies of equal value for cash prizes. Protests, in writing, must be longed with the secretary within 15 minutes after the event lias taken place, accompanied by a ’deposit of 5/-, which will be returned if protest is upheld. Persons compete at their own risk. The committee will not under any circumstances hold themselves responsible for any accident or loss. In the event of there being no competition in any of the horse events, a prize will not he given unless the judge certifies that the exhibit is of sufficient merit.
