CHRISTMAS ASSEMBLY

THE ROYAL FAMILY COUNTRY RESIDENCE (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 2 p.m, RUGBY, Dec. 20. The Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose travelled during the night to London from Scotland, where they have been since before the outbreak of the war. To-day was the first time they had seen their father since a fortnight before the war and two months since they had seen their mother, who spent a week-end in Scotland in October. The Princesses are to spend Christmas in the country with the King and Queen.
