SEVEN DEAD IN AJAX
THIRTEEN WOUNDED (British Official Wirnless.) Reed. 2.10 p.m. RUGBY, Dec. 18. An announcement by the Admiralty regarding casualties suffered by (H.M.S. Ajax in last Wednesday’s action with the German “pocket” battleship Graf von Spee confirms that seven men were killed as previously stated. The announcement gives the names of two other members of the crew who were seriously injured, and adds that FI Others received minor injuries and all are progressing satisfactorily.
