PROMINENT YUGOSLAV CLASH WITH POLICE (Reed. Dec. 19, 2.20 p.m.) BELGRADE, Dec. 18. Dr. Edo Markovitcn, a director of ■the- State Export Society, was killed in a gun battle when the police were attempting to search his house for evidence m connection with the recent Communist demonstrations Dr. ivlarkovitch's daughter was arrested last week.
