MEMORANDA

The Gisborne District Law Society intimates that the Christmas vacation will be observed from December 23 to January 13, inclusive. The Railway Department draws attention to special train arrangements on the Gisborne section over the Christmas period. On Friday, December 22, in addition to the ordinary morning train from Motuhora to Gisborne, a special train will leave Motuhora at 3jlo p.m., stopping en route and arriving at Gisborne at C p.m. The usual afternoon Motuhora train leaves Gisborne at 4.30 p.m. A return special leaves Gisborne at 10.30 p.m. and arrives at Motuhora at .1 a.m. on December 23. Market day fares will be issued to Gisborne from Motuhora by both ordinary and special trains. No trains vviil run on the Gisborne section on Christmas Day.
