Only short reports of the speech on international affairs given by the Italian Foreign Minister, Count Ciano, to the Fascist Chamber were published !in Berlin. These were confined to passages favouring the German policy. The German press commentaries emphasise the absurdity of the Allies’ hbpe that Italy will allow herself to be detached from Germany.
