PUPILS ENTERTAINED

TE KARAKA SCHOOL OLD STUDENTS AS HOSTS (Herald Correspondent.) Prior to the Te Karaka District High School closing for the summer vacation, the Old Students' Association entertained the secondary department’s pupils and their friends at an enjoyable dance in the Parish Hall. There was a good attendance o. students. The music was provided by Mr. H. Lennane, Mr. A. Bayly supervised the floor, and supper-time extras were contributed by Misses L. Ruru, N. Coates and V. Trotter. A dainty supper was served informally by members of the association. Those- present included Mesdames J. V. Castles, J. L. Clarkson, J. McKenzie, Pevreal, Fr-M.
