FINAL DAY: “OUR LEADING CITIZEN” AND “Oil SUSANNA.” Bob Burns will be seen finally today in his whimsical human characterisation in “Our Leading Citizen.” The associate feature is "Oh Susanna,” a musical Western starring the popular singing cowboy, Gene Autry. Ar added attraction to-night is the second chapter of "The Lone Banger.” -—To-morrow: Freddie Bartholomew in "Spirit of Culver,” and Barton MacLane in “Big Town Czar.” To-morrow's heroes are the boys of to-day! From the carefree ranks of boys who now spend their lives in sport and play must come the men who will “run the world” to-morrow. How some of these boys are trained for leadership and courage forms the dramatic theme ol Universal's “Spirit of Culver,” which opens to-morrow at the Majestic Theatre with Jackie Cooper and Freddie Bartholomew in co-starring roles. Told in fast-moving and graphic scenes, tin' screenplay shows what happens to Cooper, a homeless vagabond, wher. he is awarded a scholarship and given a chance tc prove himself at Culver. Freddie Bartholomew, who lias abandoned his white Eton collar fer a trim military uniform in the pic.ure, has the role of Cooper's English room-mate, lie is the young cadet who steeps himself in the traditions and ideals of the famous school and helps Jackie forget his grudge against society. Screen favourites heading the supporting cast include Anlv Devine, Henry Hull. Tim Holt. Gene Reynolds, Waller Tetlev, Jackie Mu an, Kathryn Kano and Marjorie Gates: n.
