GIFT OF FLOWERS
(Special to the Herald.) WAIROA, this day. It was reported at the monthly meeting of the Wairoa Borough Council that the collection of 50 dahlias which Mr. A. R. Arnott had offered to the council had been received and planted in Coronation Square. Appreciation of Mr. Arnott’s generosity was expressed and it was decided that a letter of thanks be forwarded to him.
