SURPRISE IN CUP RACING AT WAIFA OUR JEAN AGAIN SUCCESS IN SPRINT (Per Press Association.) TE AWAMUTU, this day. The Waipa Racing Club's meeting was held on Saturday. The track was in good order, although heavy rain fell just before the Hack Cup was run. During the day the sum of £33,719 was passed through the totalizator.
