In the Sheffield Shield cricket match Victoria made 363 runs for five wickets in reply to Queensland’s opening score of 279. Tamblvn made 107 and Hassett 83. In the match at Adelaide South Australia made 430 in reply to the New South Wales tally of 336 >n the first strike. Bradman made 251 not out. O'Reillv took five wickets for 108. New South Wales in the second scored 139 runs at a cost of four wickets.
