SEIZURE BY DUTCH
CRAFT IN SUMATRA DEBTS FOR SUPPLIES (Reed. Dec. 14, 9 a.m.) SINGAPORE. Dec. 12. The Batavia correspondent of the Tribune reports that the Netherlands Colonial Court has ordered the seizure of four German merchantmen taking refuge at Padang (Sumatra) because o>' non-payment for supplies. In addition, as a result of the action of British creditors, the Rendsburg. which is taking refuge in Batavia was seized and tiie crew discharged. The vessel is being auctioned in February.
