WIN FOR RUATORIA DESTRUCTIVE BOWLING (Special to the Herald.) ' RUATORIA, this day. The Tokomaru Bay Cricket Club visited Ruatoria last week-end and suffered defeat at the hands of the home side. The feature of the match was the destructive bowling of P. Ilati, who took eight wickets for seven runs in Tokomaru’s first innings, B. Akers taking the other two for three runs. Twelve men batted on each side Tokomaru made only 10 runs in their first innings, and Ruatoria replied with 72, R. Oates, R. Jackson, and W. Horton eacli taking three wickets cheaply. In their second knock the visiting team made 88, A. Knights scoring 20, and J. Reedy taking the bowling honours with four wickets for 20 runs.
