Signor Gayda, broadcasting to-day, declared that a revision ot the colonial system was essential to a new Europe Italy, with a rising birthrate, had a particular colonial claim against Fiance, whose birthrate was falling, said Signor Gayda. Me complained that Britain's power to close the Mediterranean, imprisoned Italy, impairing her liberty of movement.
"It is necessary for Italy to havr» freedom similar to other great Powers ;who defend the necessities of life at the cost of very bloody war," he declared.
