TRAWLERS DETAINED
VESSELS FOR FRANCE AMERICAN ACTION ‘Reed. Dec. 13, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 11. The United States coastguard authorities have detained five trawlers purchased by France as minesweepers, pending a ruling by the attorneygeneral as to whether Germany would be entitled to damages from the United States in the event of the vessels damaging German property. Three others sailed earlier.'
