VISIT TO TE KARAKA

POVERTY BAY BOWLERS (Herald Correspondent.) Two teames from the Poverty Bay Bowling Club visited Te Karaka recently, the games resulting as follows: Robinson, Graham, Quaine, Falconer (s) 16 v. Craill, Clayden, Manuel, Lougher (s) 16; Boyes, Duncan, A. R. Smith, Bennett (s) 20 v. Wilson, McGrannachan, Hodgson, Greggan (s) 14. The Falconer v. Lougher game ended in a draw on the last head, and an extra head played favoured Lougher by one, and a ruling on the position is awaited from the Poverty Bay Centre. Two teams of Te Karaka bowlers visited Tolaga Bay during the weekend and though the weather conditions were very unfavourable they were able to finish their games, winning one and losing the other.
