A valuable booklet lias been prepared by the nutrition committee of the Medical Research Council at the request of the Department of Health under the title of “Good Nutrition; Principles and Menus.” “The rapid advance in the science of nutrition in recent years,” a foreword to the bobk states, “has shown that there is a definite relationship between diet and national fitness. If, therefore, we are to develop into a strong and virile people it is important that the principles of sound nutrition be widely known and followed. For the purpose of assisting to bring this about this practical and reliable booklet has been prepared,"
