Use of the Radio

Sir,— People who keep on saying that the Government should allow its opponents the right to use the radio are unreasonable. On one occasion Mr. Nash unwisely accepted a challenge to a radio debate in Hamilton. He was made to look so l'oolish that he dare not repeat the performance, if Mr. Nash, the “strong man’’ of the Government, could not hold his own with a simple dairy farmer, it would je suicidal for lesser lights of the Government to match their wits with more formidable critics. They can nardly be blamed for realising that, “discretion is the better part of valour.” RADIO.
