PRIZE PROCEEDINGS

SUPREME COURT POWER MINISTER FOR CROWN (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A declaration that circumstances exist justifying the issue of a notice enabling the Supreme Court of New Zealand to exercise its jurisdiction in prize proceedings, is contained in a proclamation published in last night’s Gazette. The Attorney-General, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, is appointed the officer of the Crown to conduct prize proceedings.
