GERMAN IN BROOKLYN JEWISH QUARTER (Elce. Tel. Copyright —United Press Aifii.) (Reed. Dec. 8, 9 a.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 7. The German ConsuLGeneral’s secretary, Dr. Walter Engelberg, was beaten to death with an axe or a hammer in his own home in the Jewish section of Brooklyn. The police are searching for a German-speaking person who was sharing the home.
