But for two events, the men’s freestyle mile and the 440yds, the Otago swimming championships were concluded last night. Titles were won as follows: — Men's Dive: —D. Freeman. Men’s 220yds Breaststroke: —W. H. Dvson, time 3miir 1 l-ssee. Men’s 440yds Freestyle:—J. D. Odriscoll. time 58 4-ssec. Women’s 100yds Backstroke: —Miss Purdie. Women’s Dive:—Miss G. Rix. Women’s 220yds Freestyle:—Miss Purdie. Women’s 100yds Breaststroke: Miss W. Dunn, time lmin 27see. Intermediate Boys’ 100yds Breaststroke:- —R. Peat, time lmin 27sec. Intermediate Boys’ 220yds Freestyle:—C. Sell, 2min 48 4-ssec.
Intermediate Boys’ Dive: —J. Stewart.
Intermediate Girls’ 75yds Breaststroke:—Miss N. Peat, time lmin 5 1-5 sec.
