CONVERSION PLANS INTEREST AT 3\ PER CENT (Reed. Dec. 8, S) a.m.) LONDON, Dec. G. The Australian High Commissioner, Mr. S. M. Bruce, has announced that the conversion operations of Tasmanian stock are being underwritten. The prospectus will be issued on Monday, and consists of £448,300'at 3 per cent and £4,15(5,500 at 34 per cent, a total of £4,004.800, all due on January 1. The new conditions are interest at 34 per cent, and an issue price of 099. The due date is 1042-44, giving a running yield of £3 10s 9d or a redemption yield of £3 15s sd.
