USE OF 120 Z “HANDLE” PRICE TRIBUNAL DECISION Tf the customer requests it, a measure of 12oz. of beer for Gd must be served him in the private, as well as -the public, bars of hotels in the Christchurch metropolitan area. That •is the sulbdtance of an interpretation of its prfee fixation decision given by the Price Investigation Tribunal. Wlhen Ihe -tribunal fixed prices for beer in the main centres, many hotelkeepers in Ohridtchurch, it is stated, introduced the measure of 12oz. stipulated under the Price Fixation Regulations only in "the -bars marked ‘"public.” In a statement issued on December 1, in reply to a question of law, the tribunal makes it clear that its decision fixing the sale of 12oz. “handles” for Gd covered both public and private bars.
