BRITISH WAR ORDERS

TOTAL OF £195,000,000 MANY NEW CONTRACTORS (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 9 a.m. RUGBY, Dec. G. The Ministry of Supply announces that new orders placed during the week ended November 28 amounted to £12,000.000. The total since the outbreak of war was £155,000,000. During the week 584 new firms were added to the list of contractors to the department. A number of new factories were authorised for important engineering extensions.
