AUSTRALIAN PRODUCTION

To encourage the production ol' complete motor cars in Australia, the Commonwealth Gbvernment lias decided to provide a subsidy of up to £1,500,000 to assist in the launching of the industry.
The Minister of Customs, Mr. N. J. Lawson, said that the subsidy would be paid in the form of a bounty on complete engines produced in Australia.
