FAILURE OF PLOT
NAZI ADMISSION UNITY OF ALLIES NEUTRALS NOW WARNED ; BRITISH SEA CONTROL "AMAZING”' ATTITUDE < (Reed. Dec. 7, 3 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 6. A,report from Berlin states that coinciding with the first open admission by German newspapers of the utter, failure of the campaign to woo France from Britain, the Nazi Ministry of Propaganda, in a statement to the foreign press, gravely warns neutrals, especially Holland, over the attitude of the British blockade of German exports. Neutrals are advised to take active steps against Britain’s new measures. The Ministry expresses amazement that Holland is not arming or convoying ships. It adds: “It is surprising, this strange renunciation of the freedom of the seas based on Holland’s neutrality. This neutrality on the pne hand shows supersensitiveness and on the other accepts violation of international law, for which reason it is scarcely convincing.” It is officially announced in London that the navicerts have been extended to embrace exports from the United States, Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay to Portugal, Switzerland, Yugoslavia and Hungary.
