ALLIED WAR EFFORT FRENCH APPRECIATION (British Official Wireless.) Reed. 12 noon RUGBY, Dec. 6. Comment in the French press'on Sir John Simon’s 'broadcast in Paris makes clear France’s real appreciation of the British contribution to the prosecution of the war. Le Temps, for instance, states: “No Frenchman 'doubts the immense force Britain and the Empire represent in the conflict. Mistress of the seas, mastery of the air more absolute each day, an army which 'is becoming more and more powerful. \ Such are the guarantees of victory our ally brings. Moreover, our economic and financial resources are now joined together, Which from that moment appear inexhaustible.
