ORCHARDS SUFFER
Orchards in the Wairarapa suffered on Saturday night and Sunday morning, when a heavy wind did a good deal of damage to the fruit. Quantities of green fruit were spread over the ground, and a number of orchards report brbken boughs. Small-fruit orchards were not buffeted to the same extent as the larger trees.
