INCREASED GRANTS
BRITISH UNEMPLOYED GOVERNMENT VOTE (Reed. Dec. 7, 9 a.m.) LONDON. Dec. 5. The Government has announced a grant of an additional £2,500,000 toward the assistance of unemployed persons. It covers a weekly increase of 3s 6d for a man, wife and three children, 2s for a man and wife, and Is for others over 1(1 years and Od for children under 1G years.
