NAZI CRUISER HIT
HELIGOLAND RAID BRITISH SUCCESS (Reed. Dec. 4, 3 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 3. The Ail- Ministry announces a successful attack was made on German warships at Heligoland. In spite of heavy anti-aircraft Are the raiders scored direct hits, including one of the cruisers. GERMAN ADMISSION (Reed. Dec. 4. 2.50 p.m.) BERLIN, Dec. 3,The German Official News Agency now admits that Royal Air Force raiders at Heligoland caused slight material damage and sank a fishing boat.
“Owing to anti-aircraft fire the raiders were able to drop only a few bombs.”
