DEPARTURE FOR CAMP

VOLUNTEER FAREVVELLED ANTI-TANK TRAINING A farewell was extended on Saturday evening to Mr. N. W. Taylor, who was leaving Gisborne to-day to enter camp .as an N.C.O. in the Anti-Tank Corps, the hostess being Mr. and Mrs. F. Allen, Centennial crescent, at whose home the function was held. Mr. Taylor is the son of Captain Taylor, Waipukurau, who won his captaincy on the field in the Great War.

During a suitable interval, Mr. J. Byford expressed the feelings of those present in wishing Mr. Taylor good luck and a speedy and safe return home, and said that he knew that Mr. Taylor would keep up the traditions of the N.Z.E.F. of 1914-18.
