COURTING 4 YEARS
WED IN 4 MINUTES LONDON, Oct. 20. Forty-eight couples were married in llirce hours at Brentford (Middlesex) register office in one day recently. Among them were Sergeant-pilot Akroyd. of tiie R.A.F., and Miss Irene Willsmcr. Sergeant-pilot Akroyd said: “I am used to speed, but that is the fastest thing I have ever known. It fairly took away my breath. We have known each other for four years, but it, took less than four minutes to marry us.”
