RAILWAY TRAGEDY
WOMAN HIT BY TRAIN DOGS BESIDE BODY i (Per Press Assoi.intion.) TIMARU. this day. The - ; body of a single woman, Aileen Hope Parker, aged 31 years, was found alongside the railway line a short distance north of Caroline Bay early yesterday morning. The severe injuries to tlie* hotly indicated that she had been struck hv a passing train. The deceased went for a walk on Sunday evening accompanied by two dogs. When she did not return, a search was made hut it was unsuccessful.
The bodies of the dogs wore found near that of the woman.
