MANAWATU KNITTING

A loss of ,&IGGO is reported by Manawatu Knitting Mills. Limited, for the year ended October 20. This compares with a loss of £166 in the previous year and a profit of £3703 in 1937. The directors state prospects are much brighter. The mill had for the last three months been working at full capacity, but unfortunately that did not give sufficient time to make up for the early slack period.
