It was fashioned on long Empire lines and she wore gold shoes and a soft crinoline hat trimmed with velvet ribbons. Her bouquet was a sheaf of white roses.
The bride was attended by a matron of .honour, Mrs. R. A. Graham, who wore a pretty frock of mermaid green floral georgette made on similar lines to the bride’s gown. Her smart beige hat was trimmed with veiling and green flowers and she carried a bouquet of pink roses. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr. Richard Conole. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Copas, Marewa. When the bride and bridegroom left on a trip to Taupo and Rotorua the bride travelled in a smart navy blue frock made with a cowl neckline and very full skirt. Her accessories were in white.
