The Vancouver correspondent of Lie United Press of America states that the police are investigating reports that armed Japanese fishing boats inivaded Galiano Island (British Columbia), and dispossessed settlers and established a fish-curing plant which is surrounded by an armed guard. The Japanese are stated to have forced the residents to make a detour to avoid being fired on.
