TE KARAKA CLUB The club pairs for the “roosters” trophy at the Te Karaka Bowling Club are drawing many challenges and consequently changes are frequent, The season’s holders, Greggan and Clayden, lost, to McGrannachan and Craill, 14 —20, and at the weekend a remarkable game was played when McGrannachan and Craill were challenged by 11. and A. Buckingham. As McGrannachan was unavoidably absent, Loughor substituted for him and, with Craill, proved too strong a combination for the opponents.
